MOVICON Gear Couplings are ideal for large drives and heavy machinery. They are known for their high load-carrying capacity.
Their precision-engineered hubs with multi-stage gear teeth ensure efficient torque transmission and compensate for angular and radial misalignment. This enables compensation for thermal expansion, shaft deflection, and foundation settlement. Their long service life is achieved through optimized tooth geometry of the gear teeth and safety margins under shock loads, as well as continuous grease lubrication.
Gear couplings are available in horizontal configurations as standard and in customized versions for vertical applications. They can be used in all industrial applications with varying loads, such as cranes, crushers and mills.
MOVICON Gear Couplings are also available in explosion-proof versions in accordance with ATEX 2014/34/EU.
