MOVICON Worm Gear Units are ideal for applications requiring high gear ratios in a compact design. Significant speed reduction can be achieved with just a single gear stage. Power is transmitted between a worm and a worm wheel. Unlike many other types of gear units, the shafts do not run parallel to each other and their axes do not cross. This allows for flexible installation in different system layouts.
Various mounting options, such as foot-, flange-, and shaft-mounting, allow for flexible integration into the system. Additionally, horizontal and vertical mounting designs are available. Depending on the requirements, different shaft configurations are possible, including two input shafts.
MOVICON Worm Gear Units can be used in a variety of applications, including winches, conveyor systems and lifting systems.
