MOVICON Highly Flexible Couplings reduce loads on both the drive and the working machinery. This ensures smooth operation and extends the service life of the entire drive system. The couplings offer excellent shock absorption and are well-suited for irregular torque characteristics, periodic load drives and large shaft misalignments.
The elastic ring is the main component of the coupling. It is made of natural rubber reinforced with multiple layers of fabric. This design ensures low torsional stiffness while guaranteeing backlash-free torque transmission. The ring is divided into segments that can be replaced radially without moving the connected motor or driven machine. This reduces downtime and simplifies system maintenance.
MOVICON Highly Flexible Couplings are available in both shaft-to-shaft and flange-to-shaft configurations with a fail-safe mechanism. They come in various sizes and are suitable for many applications, including pumps, excavators and crushers.
